A Studio Born from Passion

What started as one person's fascination with clay has grown into a collective of artisans dedicated to keeping traditional ceramic techniques alive in a world of mass production.

Our studio sits in a renovated industrial space where natural light floods through tall windows and the hum of pottery wheels provides a steady rhythm throughout the day. Here, time moves differently. We measure progress not in hours but in the slow transformation of raw material into objects meant to last generations.

We believe that handmade objects carry something machine-made items cannot replicate: the presence of the maker. Every slight variation in glaze, every fingerprint preserved in clay tells a story of human attention and care.

Our Process

Every piece begins with clay preparation. We work primarily with stoneware clay sourced from Polish deposits, known for its fine grain and excellent plasticity. The clay is wedged by hand to remove air bubbles and create a consistent texture.

Forming happens on traditional kick wheels and through hand-building techniques that predate modern technology. Once shaped, pieces dry slowly over several days before their first firing at temperatures exceeding 1000 degrees Celsius.

Glazing is where each piece gains its final character. Our glazes are mixed in-house using mineral oxides and local materials. A second firing transforms these raw mixtures into glassy surfaces that range from matte earth tones to luminous blues and greens.

The Space We Work In

Our studio occupies a former textile warehouse in the Zabłocie district, an area that has become home to creative businesses and artists over the past decade.

The main floor houses five throwing stations, two large work tables for hand-building, and storage for works in progress. A separate room holds our two electric kilns, one capable of reaching temperatures for porcelain firing.

Visitors often comment on the smell of wet clay and the quiet focus that fills the space. We have kept the original brick walls and concrete floors, adding only what we need to work comfortably.
